Yuri

Kwon Yuri (유리) is a Korean pop singer and MC. She is a sub vocalist for Girls’ Generation and the current MC of Show! Music Core with Tiffany. She became an SM Entertainment trainee after ranking in second place as the “Best Dancer” at the “2001 SM 1st Annual Youth Contest”, and trained for five years and eleven months prior to joining “Girls’ Generation”.

Overview

Kwon Yuri was born in Goyang, South Korea on December 5, 1989. She auditioned at the SM Entertainment Casting System and joined the company in 2001 after finishing in second place in the 2001 SM Youth Best Dancer Contest. She then underwent training for 5 years and 11 months before her debut.

She graduated from NeungGok High School in 2008 and is currently attending at Chung-Ang University along with fellow group member, Sooyoung and Seungri of Big Bang.
